Outside the Hutong Home
Two Crickets in the courtyard of the Hutong Home we visited. They are so loud at night that they need to move the cage to an inside room so the whole house isn’t kept awake.
In the Dining Room of the home, surrounded by collections of art, furniture and sculptures from various Chinese Dynasties. The owner of the home is a government official, and he was wise enough to gather the pieces over the past few years.
Our host was the woman of the house, who was very generous and welcoming.
It was interesting to see the inside of a home.
